Clarins is often the first beauty collection of the season to land on my desk. Summer slowly turned into fall when these products arrived, a very 'Clarins' collection from which I'm showing you two products today.
Palette 4 Couleurs
There's something about the Clarins packaging that makes it so desirable. The simplicity of the gold box, without further frills. The eyeshadow palettes of this fall collection contain 4 colors. There are 3 versions available, and I have '01 Nude'.
01 Nude exists out of a shimmery champagne shade, a pink (with red undertone) hue, a slightly shimmery grey and a dark brown color with a hint of taupe. The swatches don't pop of the screen, but it's not the pigmentation, the pigmentation is fine. The shades are all very subtle and toned down (for example: the beige shade is a soft champagne glow, not a bright highlighter), that's the reason. But if you do want a more intense (metallic) effect -I completely forgot to swatch it, so sorry!- the eyeshadow can also be applied wet. All of the colors feel velvety soft, have a metallic like shine and a soft and luxurious feeling. They apply easy and blend out well. This is a palette that you can use on a daily base thanks to the wearable shades.
Mascara Supra Volume
Another mascara that my tiny lashes tried out, the new Mascara Supra Volume. The formula of this mascara is enriched with carnauba and mimosa wax and it should make your lashes longer after 4 weeks (+17%). I don't really know if my lashes are longer now, but I do know that the mascara gives a good amount of volume when I use it. It doesn't do much for length and curl, so I like to pair it with a mascara that goes length and then go over it with this one. You can apply about 3 layers before it gets clumpy.
Clarins - Palette 4 Couleurs in 01 Nude (€47,50)
Clarins - Mascara Supra Volume in 01 Intense Black (€28,50)
A Clarins collection isn't complete without a pretty eyeshadow palette with some really nice, wearable colors.
What do you think about the shades in the Nude palette?
