Urban Decay x Gwen Stefani Part 2

I think we have come to our last official spring collection, the Urban Decay spring collection. We all went crazy when Urban Decay announced the collab with Gwen Stefani last year, and we all went even more crazy when we saw the beautiful eyeshadow palette. But that wasn't all, because this spring collection contains 4 more limited edition Gwen Stefani products - yaaaaas!

And the first thing you notice is that the pretty packaging of the eyeshadow palette is back, but in white and gold this time. All of the products are based on this graphic print that Gwen designed and the golden details that she loves.

Let's start with the must-have of the collection: the blush palette. Gwen's cheeks are always perfectly 'blushed', contoured and highlighted. So she created this palette with 6 colors of blushes, highlighters and bronzers to get the 'Gwen glow'.  Let's take a closer look!

Cherry - is a satin babypink color. It's a perfect blush for very fair girls to give that healthy glow.

Easy - is a deep pink with a golden glow. It's a color that suits almost every skin tone, and it's one of my personal favorites.

Angel - is a glowy nude/champagne, and the color that's most suitable to use as a highlighter. It has little golden shimmers that catch and reflect light.

Lo-Fi - is a completely matte soft brown color. And this one is the most suitable to use as a contour powder, even though I would probably use it as a bronzer. It has a warm undertone (perfect for warming up your face, bronzer) and I prefer ashy/grey undertones for contouring.

Hush - is a medium pink with golden glow. The other favorite, it's a bronzer/blush hybride and I love to use it as a blush. It's not too heavy and still gives a bit color and definition to the cheeks.

OC - is described as a soft pink with a peachy accent. It's lighter than Lo-Fi and not matte. Perfect for girls that are into peach blushes!

This tiny cute box, is the Gwen Stefani brow box in Bathwater Blonde. There's only one shade (pity?), but it's actually quite universal. On the box it says dark and light blonde hair,
but it has two brown/grey ashy shades that even I could use with my dark hair. I normally use powder + pencil to shape + my beloved Dior Browstyler, so my eyebrows aren't as 'on fleek' as yesterday because I didn't want to use my pencil, than you couldn't see the colors of the brow box anymore. It also contains a wax to keep your eyebrows fixed.

The box looks really cute with the dotted design like the palettes and it has two tiny brushes and some tiny tweezers. Supercute.

(I'm wearing the Gwen Stefani eyeshadow palette by the way!)

Gwen Stefani = red lips.
So of course lipstick and lip liner couldn't be missing in her new collection. We already got a little sneak peek of the 6 lipsticks, there were some samples in the box with the eyeshadow palette. My favorites were Firebird and Rock Steady - and hello Rock Steady! It's the merlot, creamy red lipstick on the photos. Not only does it look gorgeous, it feels nice on the lips thanks to the creamy texture. Big fan of this one, which means I have to get Firebird too, because it has the same finish and texture.

There are also 5 lip liners to accompany some of the lipsticks, Rock Steady has both a lipstick and lip liner for example. The lip liner is more red, like a blood red in comparison to the wine color of the lipstick. Together it makes the lipstick a tad more popping and the liner serves as a primer. The texture is also quite creamy, and doesn't feel drying at all. A lip liner is necessary for me when wearing satin finishes, because they tend to bleed quickly. Problem of finding a right lip liner = solved!

Urban Decay x Gwen Stefani - Blush Palette (€45)
Urban Decay x Gwen Stefani - Lipstick (€24,70)
Urban Decay x Gwen Stefani - 24/7 Glide-On Lip Pencil (€20,40)
Urban Decay x Gwen Stefani - Brow Box in Bathwater Blonde (€36,40)

My two favorite products are the lipstick and blush palette. The blush palette isn't expensive at all actually, so it's kind off a must-have for every make-up junkie. Even for starters this is a good deal, because it has a lot of different hues in it, so it's a great blush/bronzer starter kit. The lipstick looks amazing. Fan of the look, fan of the formula.

Are you getting Gwenned up? Are you eyeing something?

Love, Rani
