A few weeks ago I was invited by Redken (you probably have seen it on my Instagram and Snapchat) for a professional coloration service, together with 4 other girls. Today I'm showing you my result (and theirs) through some videos!
(And there also is a new give-away for you guys!)
My hair was pretty ashy from the sun and from decoloring it a lot (remember the ombre?). I went for a purple coloring to bring back some shine into my hair. The result is a subtle color with a healthy shine and it just looks more vibrant and alive.
Redken only uses permanent coloring on natural, uncolored hair. So on the lengths they use Shades EQ. This conditioning color is what we all got, and the results all looks really good.
I got a bunch of Redken products to keep my new colored hair shiny.
The Redken shampoo and conditioner for colored hair are a must-have. I didn't want to change my hair products, but when I washed it with my regular shampoo and conditioner all the color came off. My bath was literally pink. So I switched to these and they preserve the color so much better! They also give a lot of shine, and it feels and looks healthy. Very happy with these two!
I also got two little Metal Fix's. These are metallic liquid pomades that give a gold and silver effect, fun for the holidays!
Some fixing products couldn't be missing of course. Hairspray -Pure Force 20-, which holds perfectly, a texturizing paste -Rough Paste 12- and a cream paste -Mess Around 10-. The two pastes have the same purpose, texturize your hair. The cream paste gives a more naturally tousled texture and the paste is pretty special because you can reshape your hair during the day. (These are also perfect for the boyfriend or hubby!)
All of the Redken products smell so good by the way, and that's a big plus for me.
I also got two brushes, and I use these so often! The pink one is a Dessata, similar to the Tangle Teezer, which means perfectly untangled hair. You know how bloggers are, we're often just stewing at home. So there are days that I don't even touch a brush, and with my long hair... =tangles. This works perfectly, and I definitely get where all the fuzz was about. I use the other brush, the curve-o, to comb my hair at morning. I love it, because it doesn't give any static electricity in your hair!
