It's Jo Malone time again! This time their most popular scent: Wood Sage & Sea Salt. Put on some boots, because we're taking a walk on the British seaside!
Wood Sage & Sea Salt is the most sold Jo Malone London perfume today. What does it smell like?
"Escape the everyday along the windswept shore. Waves breaking white, the air fresh with sea salt and spray. Alive with the mineral scent of the rugged cliffs. Mingling with the woody earthiness of sage. Lively, spirited and totally joyful."
When I think of the seaside, I picture it much more fishy and salty. This perfume smells actually really soft and sweet. It's composed of ambrette seed, sea salt and sage, along with red algae and grapefruit. So that's where the sweetness comes from.
I have the 30ml perfume, and you already know this bottle from one of my previous posts (Lime Basil & Mandarin). It's minimalist, simple and just pretty.
Wood Sage & Sea Salt is categorized in the "Woody" category together with 154 and Wild Fig & Cassis.
The body cream was new for me, and I love it. Most of the time there is something wrong with perfumed body creams: too thick, too runny, too strong, no scent,... But this one is different, it has a lovely texture: soft, creamy and it smears out very well. It also smells amazing. It's not too strong, so you can indulge and use it all over your body.

Wood Sage & Sea Salt, a must-have in my Jo Malone London collection. I'm kind of addicted to these little perfumes, I already own 4 of them in a span of a few months. So many amazing scents!
