Clinique - Pep-Start

There are a few ways to pep-start your day. With a healthy breakfast for example: berries, granola, a cup of tea. My daily breakfast is a fruit smoothie, nothing too fancy breakfast wise - I pep-start my day with my favorite pep-start Clinique products!

Pep-Start Eye Cream

I reviewed this eye cream a while ago and I thought it was okay. But let me tell you a little more now, this has been my go-to eye cream for the past year. It's the most moisturizing cream I've had, no more lines of dryness. It's also not expensive for an eye cream, so this is definitely one that I would recommend. I haven't come across a better one yet, absolute favorite.

Pep-Start Hydroblur Moisturizer & Hydrorush Moisturizer

These two are the latest additions to the pep-start family, together with the exfoliator.

Hydrorush moisturizer

The hydrorush moisturizer is a moisturizer that preps the skin. To me the most important thing is that this moisturizer has a SPF20! It protects against UVA and UVB rays. This is not only good in spring/summer, people forget that wintersun is actually damaging too. So it's always a good idea to smear on a little sunscreen, or atleast use something with a SPF filter in it. The hydrorush cream feels very smooth and silky, it smears out well and gets absorbed quickly. A very nice moisturizer.

Hydroblur moisturizer

The Hydroblur moisturizer is a fat free moisturizer that blurs away impurities and hydrates skin. Granted, I was sceptic. But by the first try I could see that this moisturizer actually does blur fine lines and pores! So you can use it in a few different ways: you can use it without make-up, but also as a make-up base, or you can use it to correct/blur small things, so your skin looks perfect all day. This cream has a completely other texture than the hydrorush moisturizer, it has a velvety finish which means you can still feel it a little after you've applied it. It's not unpleasant or like an annoying greasy layer, just a velvety (soft) finish.

Both moisturizers are suitable for all skin types (1,2,3 and 4).

Pep-Start 2-in-1 Exfoliating Cleanser

Yay, exfoliators! This exfoliator is one that I actually use a lot. You have to massage it in on your wet face so it can foam and cleanse thoroughly. It also has beads in it (biodegradable) that exfoliate while you're massaging it in. I love this product, it's so handy - not irritating, not too harsh. You can use this every day, it's a very mild and gentle exfoliator. I use it 2-3 times a week.

Clinique - Pep-Start Eye Cream (€26,79)
Clinique - Pep-Start Hydrorush Moisturizer (€31 for 50ml)
Clinique - Pep-Start Hydroblur Moisturizer (€31 for 50ml)
Clinique - Pep-Start 2-in-1 Exfoliating Cleanser (€20,15)

A big yes to all these products. All of them are really good and when I saw the price I was even more convinced. They're not expensive at all, so if you're looking for an eye cream, moisturizer or cleanser: these have my seal of approval!

Have you already tried a pep-start product?

Love, Rani
