Clinique & Caudalie Sun Protection

Summer has officially come to an end, and we're closing the season with the last sunscreens of year (and day): Caudalie and Clinique.

Clinique Mineral Sunscreen Fluid

The new Clinique sunscreens this year are the Mineral Sunscreen Fluid for face and body. The body version comes with a SPF30, and for face you can choose between SPF30 and SPF50. (I prefer SPF50.)

The invisible shield technology protects against UVB rays (they burn your skin) and UVA rays (they age your skin). The sunscreens have a 100% mineral sun filter that is safe and stable - it's also suitable for all skin types including sensitive skin.

The formula feels comfortable, soft and not sticky. This sunscreen doesn't contain a fragrance, again a plus if you have a sensitive skin!

Caudalie Soleil Divin

The Caudalie Soleil Divin is an anti-age face sunscreen. When you say Caudalie, you say grapes - even in this sunscreen! Polyfenols from grapes are associated with high UV-protection filters, so they create a 'shield' over the skin.

What's special about these is that they also have an anti-age formula. Vinolevure hydrates the skin and stimulates the immune system of the skin. The formula also isn't greasy or sticky, and has a matte finish.

The Soleil Divin has a fresh scent, inspired by the softness of frangipani flowers combined with watermelon and lemon leaves.

Clinique - Mineral Sunscreen Fluid for Body SPF30 (€28,90 for 125 ml)
Caudalie - Soleil Divin SPF50 (€28,20 for 40ml)

Which sunscreen suits you best? If you have a sensitive skin, Clinique would be a better option. If you would like extra anti-aging in your sunscreen, Caudalie would be the choice.

There are so many sunscreens out there, and the more 'high-end' ones are all good. I hardly ever come across greasy sunscreens that leave a white layer anymore. So you can't go wrong with all of the sunscreens I've talked about, they just have a different focus, and it's up to you to decide which focus is your focus too.

Love, Rani
