Estée Lauder - Advanced Night Repair

The Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair serum is one of the most well known serums, and it took a spot in a lot of women their routine. Recently Estée Lauder came out with an Advanced Night Repair mask, so of course I tried it out!

Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Recovery Complex II

A little word about the serum first.
Advanced Night Repair (ANR) has a technology called ChronoluxCB, which should remove signs of visible aging: lines and wrinkles. This serum is best used at night to accelerate the natural process of repairing cell damage by synchronizing the natural timing at which skin and tissue repair takes place. Estée Lauder promises a smoother, younger and more radiant appearance. While boosting cell turnover, ANR also evens out skin tone. Dark patches and sun spots are toned down and skin appears even all over. And of course it's also hydrating.

I too prefer to use this at night, not because of the ChronoluxCB, but because it feels a bit sticky. Paired with the right moisturizer you can also use it during daytime of course.

PowerFoil Mask

The powerfoil mask has a double matrix structure, the inner matrix contains the ANR technologies  but with double the amount of hyaluronic acid. And the outer matrix makes sure that the formula works 25x times faster for an immediately noticeable glow and a younger, more radiant look.

The mask exists out of two parts, a top part (forehead, nose,...) and a bottom part (chin,...). The mask is soaked in ANR, and by soaked I mean good that it's a night mask because there even dripped a bit on my jammies. The mask feels cool at first and you can really feel that your skin is getting some Estee Lauder ANR love. After 10 minutes you can remove the mask, massage in the residue and just go to bed. I did notice an improvement in radiance and hydration after I used it and ideally, you should use the mask every week.

Estée Lauder - Advanced Night Repair Serum (€82,76 for 30ml)
Estée Lauder - Advanced Night Repair Mask (€106,54 for 4 masks)

I do have to say that I can really enjoy moisturizing sheet masks, they're relaxing and they give that spa-at-home feeling. The masks however are quite pricy and getting the serum seems like the best option when it comes to the price. The masks are a luxurious extra - for when you really, really want to get pampered.

Have you ever tried this (quite iconic) serum?

Love, Rani

  2. I use the ANR too and I tried this mask (I felt like a ninja :D) and I love both products.
I use the mask when I need some 'me-time' and the serum on a daily base :)
    Lovely pics as usual ;)
