Last week I had a lovely dinner with the YSL team and some other journalists and bloggers. We discovered the new Saharienne collection. I had a great evening, and I really want to share some dreamy photos with you.
The setting was just gorgeous. The event was held at Alix, a restaurant in Ghent. Everything was decorated according the theme of the summer collection: Saharienne.
Warm colors at the horizon.
Saharienne, a modern and avant-garde interpretation of a glowing Marocco. An ode to the colorful city with character and an hedonist past. Blooming, vibrant. A modern and timeless mix between warmth and freshness.
Can you feel the Moroccan vibe in the dinnersetting?
Before dinner we had the chance to get a make-over by Paul Van Rompaey, a well-known YSL make-up artist.
Oh, and how cute is that little golden tattoo? It's something that I actually wanted for real but was advised against by every tattooist. (Would fade instantly, and retouching it would be too thick.)
Dinner time! With a lovely table and half of the courses being vegetarian (hurray!).

Sadly we couldn't stay that long. But I had a lovely time and met so many great people. Thank you for inviting me on this lovely Moroccan night out, YSL!
And of course, a blogpost/review on all the new YSL things will follow soon! And spoiler: there are some serious gems!
