I told you about the big pile of 'to review' items in the last blogpost, and here is something that is up a little late because of that pile. Today I'm telling you about one of the most affordable cushion foundations on the market, the L'Oréal Nude Magique!
Nude Magique
Cushion foundations are thé foundation hype at the moment. Numerous brands are releasing one, and L'Oréal also came out with a very affordable version, the Nude Magique Cushion.
The packaging of this foundation has of course the classic cushion foundation structure: a mirror inside, an applicator and a locked cushion which holds the foundation. The front of the packaging has a pink metallic shine, very girly and pretty!
The foundation has a dewy finish, and a light coverage. You can build it to a light-medium coverage, but it definitely isn't a full coverage foundation. This one is more of a fresh, dewy summer foundation. I love the sponge applicators that come with the cushion foundations - I always use those instead of my Beautyblender or brushes. I just find that it works so well, and super quick.
The foundation feels light, fresh and shade 03 Vanilla matches me well. I sometimes mix it with another cushion foundation I have that has a pink undertone, and then it's a perfect fit.

This foundation is a good choice if you're looking for light coverage and a dewy finish. Of course you can mattify it too by using some matte powder afterwards. (Guilty.)

Ik ben zo benieuwd naar de finish die dit product heeft; ik zag het ook al in andere reviews. Het ziet er mooi uit, als een 'healthy glow'. Deze foundation staat op mijn wishlist!

Yeaaaaah, I'd probably matte it down too :-) Still haven't tried it yet, though I was literally looking at it in the store yesterday thinking about picking it up.
ReplyDeleteI have tried these too and still use a powder, I have oily skin so it looks really shiney. It is a novel idea the cushion compact but I still prefer my old foundations. BEautiful pictures and excellent review!
