Boost your skin. Boost your life.
Something new from Clarins: three concentrated boosters to mix with your skincare.
I was pretty curious about these, so let's take a look!
What are these boosters?
It took Clarins 10 years of research to create these boosters. A very concentrated treatment you can call them, but with the big difference that these boosters aren't for everyday use. You only need to use it occasionally when your skin needs it, or you can use it as a treatment.
The booster needs to be mixed with your regular moisturizer, put around 3-5 drops in it. You can't use the booster alone because it contains some highly concentrated active ingredients. So you always have to combine them with some kind of face care product (moisturizer, oil, night cream,...). The 3 different boosters may never be mixed, but you can use the orange one today and the blue one tomorrow for example.
The packaging of the bottles if overall pretty cool. Each booster has its color and the bottles and boxes are in that specific color. The little bottles look great, they really have that luxurious yet young look. Gold details, just really pretty. The box is the regular Clarins skincare box, but there is another box/chart over it in the color of boosters, with all kinds of information about them.

My thoughts and a little review:
I tested these quite thoroughly, my mom got the Booster Repair, my boyfriend the Booster Detox and I tried the Booster Energy. The biggest noticeable difference was the Booster Detox with my boyfriend, it brought the radiance back to his skin. It's not that he has been partying, but he has a lot of studying to do constantly, stays up late, eats unhealthy sometimes - all that works on your skin of course. The detox booster brought back the radiance of his skin. The repair booster came in second, the effect on my mom was noticeable, but not as big of a difference as with my boyfriend. The energy boosters seems like less of a treatment than the other two, more something that you can use several times a week. If my skin needs some more intense loving, I think I'll grab the repair or detox booster.
What do you think about these Clarins boosters?
