MY MIMOSA CANDLE

It's been a long time since I showed you a little interior. If you follow me on Instagram, you have probably seen that I own a lot of candles, but I recently found a true gem that I absolutely need to show you!
Meet my Acqua di Parma Mimosa candle!

Acqua di Parma has a line of home fragrances, and these candles are part of it. You can't call these candles just candles, because these are made entirely by hand. (Wow!)
The surface is decorated with the key ingredient: mimosa. All the mimosa flowers are placed by hand. And that's what makes the looks of this candle so different and luxurious for me. Truely a little work of art.

There are a lot of different scents you can choose: red berries, tea leaves, rose buds,... But this mimosa candle is even more special because it's limited edition. It's part of the Fruit & Flowers collection.

The scent comprises notes of mimosa, freesia and violet, alongside accents of amber, vanilla and musk. And the scent is very, very powerful. The candle was closed in the plastic and still in the box in my room, and my whole room and even the hallway smelled like mimosa. I love when candles have a great, even a bit overwhelming scent. When candles stop smelling after two hours, that's the biggest dissapointment for me.

One truely extraordinary thing is this:
The purity of the wax and the lengthy process of creating the candle by hand ensures the candles burn from the inside, for up to 60 hours, without damage to the original shape.
It burns but keeps it shape? No more dripping 'ugly' candles? I haven't lit it yet (because it's just too pretty) but I'm really curious about this!

Acqua di Parma - Mimosa candle (limited edition) available now for €105

Okay, the candle is a bit pricey, but it burns up to 60 hours. And I'm probably not even going to light it any time soon because it smells even without burning and let's be honest: isn't it too pretty to burn?
I'm really happy with this find: the yellow-goldish shade gives such a happy yet elegant touch to my interior.

What do you think about my new candle?

Love, Rani
