SMITH & CULT - LIP LACQUERS

I was so happy when two little bags of Smith & Cult products arrived. Meet a brand which has literally everything.

I was browsing the Net-A-Porter beauty products when I saw 'Smith & Cult', I had never heard of them, so I took a peek. And I instantly fell in love with the gorgeous packagings. Smith & Cult have nail polishes and lip glosses, and I just needed to know more about this label.
When I opened their website I was even more convinced. Every product has a little description (Who makes these? I love reading these.) and there are just little things about the brand that I love like "add to swag" instead of "add to bag".

The packaging is why I fell for the brand in the first place. Look at those glosses. Aren't they gorgeous? I mean, I don't think I could make a lip gloss that looks better. The gold cap has an imprint which makes it look like the gold is melted. Not only does it look good, it fits better between the fingers.
The glosses have a doe foot applicator, which I personally like best.
The rest of the tube is see-through, with the logo in gold (even the logo looks sooo good, no?).
My products also arrived in a very pretty bag. I have so many products from different high-end labels, but this is definitely (one of) the best when it comes to packaging. A must-have!

"Smith & Cult represents the duality we all inhabit throughout our lives and our individual expressions of beauty, which reflect who we’ve been, are and aspire to become. Each shade is inspired by and representative of the experiences depicted in the diary entries of our beauty addicted heroine who sees her world through a lens of color."

The shades I picked out are "The Queen Is Dead" (sheer aubergine tint with a velvety shimmer), "Flesh Riot" (muted rosette with a gold velvety shimmer) and "The Warning" (sheer cardinal with a gold micro shimmer).

The glosses are very pigmented for a sheer gloss! They give off the color quite well. I'm such a fan of mixing these glosses with the Cupid's Bow by Lipstick Queen. They are the perfect base.

Smith & Cult - Lip Lacquer (€25)

Yes, I am super enthusiastic about these glosses. They are the prettiest glosses I own, and I don't think there even are any out there that look better.

Did you know Smith & Cult? What are your thoughts?

Love, Rani
